Okay so I'm officially starting my first blog post here in Tokyo!

I thought about doing a video but in the end I decided to just write in my blog.

I left on Thursday on the 31st at 5:30 AM to catch my 9:45 AM flight at the Philly Airport.

Everything went really smooth and I made it through the security; I was glad that they didn't use the full body scanners.

Then my connecting flight was at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. Other than going through customs in Canada, it went well. Because I had to go through customs there I was running back and forth a lot because I had to pick up my luggage and recheck it in for my flight to Tokyo.

Then I boarded the plane for Tokyo. The flight was long but actually we got there 30 mins. ahead of time.

After I got to Narita 2 of the YWAM Tokyo staff members picked me up and we made our way to the DTS house for supper. I was pretty tired but it wasn't as ad as I thought I was going to be.

Then we had Bibimbap for diner, which is a Korean dish that you mix rice and beef and other vegetables in a bowl. Before that I met most of the people at the base.

I was tired so we went back to the girls dorm and just relaxed.

This morning I feel almost back to normal after getting some sleep.

Today we will be moving into the new apartment for the girls.

Anyways it's really nice to be back in Japan.

I know that I have not updated in ages, and I am sorry. I really would like to but I have no time. Currently, I have switched host families,I am busy with Art club, and I'm practically dying everyday while practicing my class dance(s) for my school festival.

I have a feeling that I might not do another V-blog untill summer vacation starts.

(My Soon to be New Hometown)

I found out that I'm going to Ebetsu, Hokkaido. Which is a city located about 11 miles from the capital of Hokkaido called, Sapporo! I'm not on the main island (where Tokyo & Osaka is) and where I'm staying is cool in the summer and kinda cold in the winter (it shares the same lattitude as Maine, USA). Hokkaido is also where most of the agriculture stuff is done in Japan. It's also the island with hot springs, skiiing/snowboarding resorts, and is known for it's delicious seafood. Hokkaido also has a lot of pottery/nature in its' culture. As far as I know I have no host sibblings and will be staying with a host mom & dad. So for now I will work on emailing the host fam and I'll also be waiting to find out which school I'm going to. Hopefully, soon!

EDIT: I guess this means if I go to a NEWS/KAT-TUN concert I will be heading to Sapporo??!

Unfortunately, this is a game I usually lose. At this point in life I am still waiting for many questions to be answered. Like, "Who is going to be my host family?", "Where am I going to be in Japan?", "How much should I pack?" ect. I suppose only time will tell...
